Geography- Trade and growth of towns- Feudalism made traveling safe and more people started traveling on trade routes. People traded in small villages and river crossings. When it was safe to travel, the towns started to grow because of all of the tourists that came to travel to their towns. Some tourists decided to stay at the towns they traveled to. That made the towns more popular. The economy grew with the growth of towns and trade. In some Manors, they were mostly made up of middle class people. Middle class people were made up of nobles, peasants, merchants, craft workers, and traders. They had a system called feudalism, where peasants lived on someone else's land as long as they worked for the owners.
Religion-In the Middle Ages, they were big on religion. The Roman Catholic Church was the main focus in their time. The Roman Catholic Church was located in Western Europe. They thought life was short. The church had the economic power. It was a place for temporary peace, a place to confess your sins, and covered all aspects of life. In the church, the Pope had the authority and it was well organized.
Art/Architecture- During the Middle Ages, they had many craft workers. They made pottery and art. Architecture then was really detailed. They painted and sculpted buildings and statues.
